Members inspecting dinosaur footprints in Ardley Fields Quarry, OxfordshireNatural History Programme

Talks are held in Learning Zone 2 at the County Museum, Church Street, Aylesbury and start at 2.30pm. Field meetings also start at 2.30pm unless otherwise stated. Non-members welcome

12th January Wildlife Photography. A talk further exploring the wildlife photography of Paul Keene. (Paul will also be showing photographs from his trip to Australia in 2006)
23rd February Winter bird watch at College Lake, near Pitstone. Meet in car park near SP934138
15th March Glow-worms. A talk by John Tyler, author of the 2002 book 'The Glow-worm'
12th April Annual General Meeting followed by a talk by the Section’s President, Victor Scott, 'Non-conformists of the Plant World, a look at plants that do things differently'.
10th May A botanical walk from Steps Hill to Duncombe Terrace with Roy Maycock. Meet in car park south of of the Ivinghoe Beacon, near SP964159
27th June A Friday evening Glow-worm walk with Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Environmental Records Officer, Martin Harvey. Booking essential. Please contact Mike Palmer (see above) by Thursday 19th June if planning to attend.
July Geological field trip with Michael Oates to Pury End Quary, Northamptonshire (between Stony Stratford and Towcester). This is a joint meeting with the Buckinghamshire Earth Heritage Group. Contact Mike Palmer (see above) nearer the time for details.
18th October 'Buckinghamshire's Rare Plants'. A talk on the County's Rare Plants Project by County Plant recorder, Roy Maycock.
15th November 'The Ridgeway'. A talk by John Tyler on walking the Ridgeway along with aspects of its natural history and archaeology.

17th January 'Stags, tanners, minotaurs and harlequins - the natural history of beetles', a talk by the Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Environmental Records Officer, Martin Harvey
21st February Winter bird watch at Wilstone Resevoir. Meet in car park near the farm shop.
28th March Annual General Meeting followed by a talk by the Section's President, Victor Scott.
