The princely Saxon burial at Taplow was the most important burial found in England before the discovery at Sutton Hoo. Leslie Webster, who once looked after the Taplow
finds at the British Museum, will tell the story of their excavation. She will also describe more recent Anglo-Saxon discoveries.
